Limitations: Our “best efforts” do not include verifying every listing in person, performing background checks, or guaranteeing that all information is complete, current, or accurate.

User Acknowledgement: Users accept that our definition of “best efforts” may not meet their personal expectations, and that the Platform cannot be held responsible for any dissatisfaction, errors, or omissions in listings.

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
Users must comply with all applicable laws, including rental, housing, and student regulations.
Users must conduct their own inspections, checks, and due diligence before entering into agreements.
Users agree not to post false, misleading, or unlawful content.
Users are responsible for their interactions, payments, and agreements with other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• We make no warranties or guarantees regarding listings, bookings, payments, or outcomes.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: financial loss, property damage, personal injury, fraud, scams, or disputes between users.
• All risks arising from use of the Platform remain solely with the User.

The Platform does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of accommodation.

Any payments or transactions facilitated through the Platform are solely between Students and Landlords.
We are not responsible for failed payments, refunds, security of transactions, or disputes regarding money.
Where third-party payment processors are used, Users agree to their terms.

We aim to keep the Platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors beyond our control.

All Platform content (logo, design, features, text, etc.) is the property of VarsityLinks. Users may not copy, reproduce, or misuse content without permission.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless VarsityLinks, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from use of the Platform.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, reliability, or safety.

By using the Platform, you consent to such collection and processing.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, secure, virus-free, or that it will meet every User’s expectations.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
